“When the good pictures come, we hope they tell truths, but truths “told slant,” just as Emily Dickinson commanded.” - Sally Mann
Mary Dew's Photo Therapy Experiential- Visual Poem
Poems can describe almost anything. Using this experiential that I created, I am looking for you to make a visual poem that is a reflective self-portrait that describes aspects of yourself in various visual forms. Meaning; yourself as a landscape, yourself as a still life, yourself as architecture, yourself as aspects of a portrait/person, etc. The poetry will be created by you and comprised of three sentences. Don’t start to panic! Trust me, I am not a poet. We will do a QUICK experiential that will make the writing part VERY EASY, so then you can focus on the photographic part!
